My Experience
I'm currently working in a special needs school for children with physical and neurologically impaired needs.
I've been working here for 9 years gaining alot of knowledge and experience, I'm epilepsy awareness , gastrostomy and autism awareness trained. I have my level 3 teaching assistant qualification
I administer medication on a daily basis orally and through gastro tubes as well as working different milk and water pumps and suction pumps and oxygen.
The children that I work with also use a range of communication devices such as eye gazes ,communication books and grids .
I also have experience with muscular dystrophy and CP,I have a lot of experience in support physio sessions to.
I'm dedicated to giving special needs children and young adults the best care I can , I'm enthusiastic and take great joy in helping them through their life.
I have knowledge of using over head and manual hoist everyday and help with their personal needs and care.
