My Summary

My Experience

I have regularly looked after our niece and nephews and friends children since the covid pandemic. I did my school placement in a nursery & I was a childminder for two young children throughout my teenage years. I worked with babies, toddlers & junior school children via various events companies where I gained experience of working with children with sensory issues and children with ADHD & Autism in this role (which I am well versed in) . I regularly worked with and around children with mental health issues and disabilities for a period of four years. I spent three months working at an American summer camp teaching drama to children aged 5 -15 in 2008. I also have experience of working with pre and early teens from summer school camp & ambassador roles I volunteered for during university and I have an interest in supporting and looking after young people of all ages. I am CPR trained, have an enhanced recent DBS check, work within the NHS so I know a lot about various illnesses and ailments and feel comfortable in an emergency. I have completed child safeguarding training & health and safety training and I will start work in a local school as a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant in September.

My Qualifications

I am DBS checked (current). I hold a degree in an English based subject. I also have studied for GDPR, Health and Safety, Safeguarding of Adults and Children, CPR and more via training with the NHS which was refreshed yearly. In September I will complete up to date safeguarding, first aid and health and safety training via a local primary school. It is worth noting I am more than comfortable with pets/pet sitting also and have dogs and a rabbit at home.

My Availability

I am available throughout the majority of the school holidays and when school starts, I am available after school closing hours, in the evenings and the majority of weekends.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.50 per hour

£12.50 per hour one child £15.00 per hour for 2-3 children
