I'm a German native speaker from Munich, Germany, which is where I studied teaching German, French and English at secondary schools. My great passion in life is to make sure every child gets the nurture they need to fulfil their true potential. I'm a strong advocate for a diet free from sugar and processed foods and I love cooking healthy meals with kids. I also encourage children to connect with the nature and culture of their environment and I create positive learning experiences to foster confidence, self-efficacy, curiosity and the joy of learning.
Since I'm university trained for secondary-school children in Germany, my normal age range is 10-14 years, but I'm happy to look after younger children if required.
I would also speak German or French with the children if required, and/or teach them explicitly. I also offer tutoring for German and French.
My Experience
I've had multiple placements at secondary schools during my studies. In 2014/15, I worked as an assistant teacher at the King Edward VI Camp Hill Schools in Birmingham (grammar schools), I've tutored secondary school children and I've babysat my two nieces aged 8 and 13.
My Qualifications
I hold a Bachelor in German as a foreign language and a state exam in Teaching at secondary schools. The latter is a German degree containing Pedagogy, Psychology of teaching and learning and developmental Psychology.

For tutoring +18£ per hour (30£ in total)
