Cherished Chilminder

My son started at Susyanne's when he was 8.5 months old, we had looked at quite a few different childcare settings including childminders and nurseries but gravitated towards Susyanne the most. Leaving your child at such a young age, especially when it's your first baby is such a daunting experience but when I met Susyanne, she immediately stood out to me more than the rest because of her warmth and caring nature, I knew she would love my son and care for him like she would her own family.

Susyanne has a natural ability with children, making them feel welcome and comfortable which aides with the children learning a lot along the way. She follows the EYFS so your children will be fully equipped and ready for school, I think having a smaller setting than a nursery has helped my son to progress extremely well with his counting, colours, alphabet and later on writing his name as they have a lot of attention and time from Susy to teach them.

I also think that the children being varying ages has taught my sons how to patient with younger ones and how to keep up with the older ones, teaching them a lot about communication and social etiquette.

A big bonus is my sons understand Portuguese too!

I always felt very secure that my children were looked after well and fed well too! My sons love broccoli and it's definitely down to Susy's delicious homemade cooking and powers of persuasion. It's so good to know your children are getting nutritious food every day and has encouraged my children to eat/try different types of food.

My sons have created life long friends while at Susyanne's and have had the perfect start to learning about life outside of our own home.

I would highly recommend Susyanne to everyone.

Thanks so much for caring for my first born and preparing him for school and for continuing to look after my youngest who is always excited for time with Tia Susy.

Our son started with Susy when he was just 8 months old and stayed for three wonderful years. From the very beginning, he was given so much care, attention and encouragement, with daily pedagogical and developmental activities that he absolutely loved. Raoul also created strong friendships with the rest of the crew, which made his time there even more special.
Our daughter is still with Susy and continues to thrive in her care. Susy is reliable, kind, flexible and genuinely caring, and the children are always welcomed into a warm, happy environment.
The food is fabulous!
We feel incredibly lucky to have found Susy and are so grateful for everything she has done for our children. She has been such an important part of their early years, and we really couldn’t recommend her enough. ❤️ She truly feels like part of our family, along with her own children and her dog Billu.

Like family

It was so hard to leave our son at 1 year old, when I had to return to work. It was a relief to find Susy. I knew she would pick him up and comfort him whenever he got upset. Susy is playful and fun, and plans creative activities that helped our son's development. We also knew that our son was receiving nutrious and balanced meals; Susy homemade food was delicious and our little one loved it. Our son was looked after by Susy for nearly three years and we all cried buckets when it was time to day goodbye! Susy became like family to us.

Amazing childminder, or i could say, the best!

Susyanne is such a loving, caring, wonderful childminder, mother and person! I can’t say enough how grateful we are to have found her. Her house is so child friendly with lots of space indoor and outdoor for the children. Oh, and it is spotlessly clean too! And let’s not forget to mention Lucia, her wonderful assistant whom all the kids love. My daughter has been at Susyanne’s for over 1 year now and she loves it everyday. She would be upset when weekends come! I never once have to worry about my child’s safety and well-being there! Thank you very much Susyanne and Lucia!
