Hi, I’m Brooke! ? I’m 25 years old and have over 7 years of experience working with children. For the past 3 years, I’ve been in charge of an after-school club, which has given me lots of experience creating a fun, safe and positive environment where children can feel comfortable, happy and supported.
I’m a very friendly, bubbly and sociable person and absolutely love working with children! I have experience supporting children with SEN and always try to make sure every child feels included, understood and valued. I’m confident when communicating with both children and parents and I’m someone who is fun, caring and approachable, while also being fair and firm when needed. I love getting involved, being creative and making sure children have a great time while they’re in my care! ?
My Experience
I have over 7 years of childcare experience, including extensive nannying and babysitting experience. I have built strong, long-term relationships with families and continue to babysit for some of them today, which reflects the trust they have in my care. For the past 3 years, I have been in charge of an after-school club, developing my leadership, organisation and childcare management skills. I have also been responsible for running a summer camp, where I was recognised with two awards for my work and contribution. I have experience as a key worker for children requiring one-to-one support, including children with SEN, and am confident supporting their individual needs while creating a safe, structured and enjoyable environment??.
My Qualifications
I have 5 GCSE's in the following subjects: Maths, English, RE, ICT, Art.
I also have an enhanced DBS check that is on the update service.
I am qualified in level 2 and 3 in theatrical hair and make-up.
I also have level 1 award in mental health and wellbeing.
My Availability
Available for ad hoc childcare.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
I charge £15.00 per hour for babysitting (for one child). I do a sibling rate, £9 per hour/ per child.
