About Me
My name is Brooke Roberts. I am 20 years old and I live in Croydon. I have two nephews under 5 and a little sister who is 7, and I’m constantly around children, so childcare is something I am more than familiar with! I am a bubbly, people person, as well as very caring and kind. I believe I have qualities that make children feel safe, secure and looked after. However, they still have lots of fun and enjoy themselves. I have been a nanny for two different families for the past 2 years. I have loved it and want to continue nannying!
My Experience
Growing up, I have always been around children of all different ages. Since turning 16 I have had an enhanced DBS check.
My mum has been a nanny for years, which meant that I got a great insight, in how to appropriately care and cater for children's needs. I often interact with the children, by reading books, completing puzzles, helping with homework. Other aspects I take part in are things such as, tidying and cleaning after the children, helping with feeding/ preparing meals.
I feel like looking after children is very rewarding and fun.
My Qualifications
I have 5 GCSE's in the following subjects: Maths, English, RE (religious education), ICT, Art.
As I have previously mentioned I have a enhanced DBS check that is automatically updated often.
I am qualified in level 2 and 3 in theatrical hair and make-up. I also have level 1 award in mental health and wellbeing.
My Availability
I am available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. I am not available on weekends however I may be able to if given enough notice, so feel free to ask! I am also unavailable for overnight stays.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)
I charge £12.00 per hour for babysitting (for one child). I do a sibling rate, £8 per hour/ per child.
