My name is Elaine and I am an Ofsted registered childminder with a Level 3 Award in Preparing to work in home-based childcare.
The setting is a family home with a garden that provides lots of opportunities for play and learning. My aim is to provide children with an environment where they feel happy and secure with lots of opportunities to play and learn.
Learning and development is encouraged through play and all activities are based on the unique and individual needs of each child using the criteria set out by the Early Years Foundation Framework.
I am close to both Dartford and Crayford town centre which gives the children the opportunity to integrate with the local community by attending play groups and using local services such as the library. I have a seven-seater people carrier so I can visit the surrounding areas which have lots of access to parks and open spaces. I have many toys and activities to suit all ages.
I am registered with the Tax-Free Childcare scheme.

Elaine is fantastic. From the moment she met us and our little one she put us at ease and took a genuine interest in getting to know our son and how best to support and nurture him. It has been an absolute joy to see him thrive. Elaine has so many ways to engage and keep children entertained and thoughtfully plans fun and creative things for little ones to enjoy. Bittersweet with our little one getting bigger and transitioning to nursery. So grateful for the time he has had with Elaine and highly recommend her.

I wholeheartedly recommend Elaine as a childminder. From our first meeting, I felt reassured that my daughter would be in safe and loving hands. Elaine's multiple settling-in sessions eased my anxieties, and my daughter thrived in her care.
I was so impressed with Elaine that I increased my daughter's hours twice. She has now been with Elaine five days a week for over a year and her development has been outstanding, exceeding that of friends' children attending nursery. Elaine provides a nurturing environment with plenty of stimulating activities, including group classes and outings to parks and nature reserves.
Elaine's communication is excellent, keeping me informed of my daughter's progress and activities. If you are seeking a childminder who will nurture, love, and provide exceptional care for your child, look no further than Elaine. She is truly one of the best!

I highly recommend Elaine. My son absolutely loves his time at Elaine’s and we are so grateful we found her. She is kind, caring and patient toward the kids. My son is always happy to go back to Elaine’s house every Monday, since he started almost 2 years ago.
She is always full of ideas, and plans activities indoors and outdoors. She will plan activities at home, and also takes them to other activities such as play groups, parks, playground, etc Ensuring that the kids under her care reach successfully each milestone while enjoying. This is for us is a big plus, and we can see how our son's social and language skills have dramatically improved.
