About Me
Hi, I’m Carol, I’m a OFSTED registered childminder with 26 year’s experience,I love my job and really enjoy looking after children, I provide a happy loving caring environment for all children and early years in my care, I make sure all the children get lots of love, care and individual attention, so the parents can go to work relaxed knowing their children are happy and well cared for, I do all types of activities with the children visiting local parks, toddler groups and have memberships with Willows Activity Farm. and Whipsnade Zoo. I welcome all children of all ages and any special needs a child may have. I live in 4th Avenue, Garston ,Watford down the road from Bury Grove School and do local school drop offs and pickups, no job to big or small,

I have raised 3 grown up daughters and 3 grandchildren, no pets and a non smoking household
My Qualifications
Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
First Aid qualified.
Safe guarding certificate
DBS certificate
Registered with PACEY ( Professional Assosication for childcare and Early Years )
Have attended many training courses
My Availability
Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5,30pm ( Times can be flexible to individual requirements )
I care for children of all ages, cultures, abilities, full time or part time.
I accept all government free funding and tax credits.
I do Term Times and School Holidays.
I have a full clean driving licence and do school drop offs and pick ups.
My Fees childminder from £8.50 per hour.
Note : School drop off’s or pickups are charged at a minimum of 1 hour pay per session for either mornings or afternoons.
I do not charge if I am sick or for my own holidays.

I was very worried about leaving my daughter when she was 6 months old to go back to work but Carol made it all so easy. She is fun and outgoing and made her home so open to us.
Her and my daughter got on amazingly and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. My daughter has been with Carol for 3 years now.
Carol takes the children to the farm, the zoo, water parks and even when the weather isn’t great, has her own play house at the back of her house. She taught my daughter to become a confident walker and a very happy talker!
Carol is caring, helpful and my daughter adores her.

Carol had our daughter from 12 months old and as the first time using a childminder she was amazing from the very beginning. She put our mind at easy with her professionalism and catered to everything we asked for. The proof was in the way our daughter grew, so confident and social. She takes the kids to parks, playgroups, farms, zoos, softplay. She kept us up to date with all the activities. It really was a home away from home for our daughter she was so safe and settled, sometimes she wouldn’t want to come home.
We were absolutely gutted when our daughter went to preschool, she still asks to go to Carols. Carol has a genuine love for the children and we were so lucky to have found her.
Thank you so much Carol, you’ve been a huge part of our life, I don’t know what we would’ve done without you.
