About Me
We are a family of three. Mum dad and 7 year old son. He is diagnosed as Autistic and is non-verbal. He is a very happy boy in his own world. He's never been aggressive or violent in any way. He's got sensory issues and will therefore only eat dry items only. He stays clear of any gravy based dishes. Hoping to find a good childminder or nanny that can help us support him better and that can try to help him play with other children. He currently goes to school therefore only needed help during holidays. zero & 7, eight - 2 ! 5 / 5 eight 3 + 8 * seven + 4
My Requirements
I am looking for a nanny with special education needs experience for my mildly autistic son. I'm looking for Monday to Friday 12:30-4:30pm holiday support only.

My 2 year old son has been going to Shafaq and Kamal's house for a year now.
He settled very well during the first couple of days of being there, which is quite surprising considering toddlers can take ages to adjust to a new environment.
Since the time he's been there, we can see a massive change in him. His speech is delayed and hasn't said a word yet, however they make him feel so comfortable in their setting that he doesn't want to come home sometimes! He has now started interacting and communicating in different ways and all the credit goes to them as they have gone above and beyond their normal responsibilities to make sure he learns, interacts and at the same time ensuring that we as parents are kept at ease. This just goes to show how professional they truly are.
They send us regular pictures of him playing/interacting on a daily basis. My son will happily eat there and on occasions when he refuses to eat anything, Shafaq will go out of her way to give him something else to eat, which I think is commendable.
I can go on and on praising them (as they are truly worth the praise), however if you are looking to send your child to a childminder who will treat your child as their own then I wouldn't think twice to send them here.
