My Requirements

I’m a single mum looking for a reliable, caring and trustworthy person who can occasionally help with childcare, basic dog care, and maintaining a clean and comfortable home.

As we homeschool, there may occasionally be a need to support the children with work that has already been set for them, help them stay on task, or ensure they have logged into their learning apps and online activities. No teaching qualifications are required—just patience, encouragement and confidence helping children follow their usual learning routine.

The role may include:

Looking after and entertaining the children in a safe, fun environment

Supporting the children with pre-set homeschool work when needed

Ensuring they have logged into their learning apps or online activities

Helping with simple routines such as meals, learning activities and bedtime when needed

Preparing simple snacks or meals

Hoovering and maintaining the main living spaces to keep them clean and tidy

Helping to keep the children’s bedrooms clean, tidy and organised

General light household tasks, such as tidying up after activities and folding laundry

Letting the dogs outside for toilet breaks

Ensuring the dogs have access to fresh food and water

Keeping an eye on the dogs and providing basic care while I’m out

Providing occasional overnight care for the children and dogs when needed

I’m looking for someone who is responsible, patient, kind, trustworthy and dependable. Experience with children, dogs, homeschooling or household cleaning would be a bonus.

Hours may vary, and there may occasionally be a need for overnight care, so some flexibility would be helpful. Please get in touch with a little information about yourself, your experience, availability and rates.
