About Me
Hello, my name is Sophie and I have a level 6 qualification within childcare, having just completed University. I class myself as a very passionate, hard working, friendly and kind hearted person and pride myself in providing the best care that I can possibly give to the children that I look after.
I have had lots of experience in working with children from many ages ranges, completing 300 hours work experience within four different placements (babies, nursery, primary school and special needs) to complete my level three qualification as well as working as a baby room leader within a nursery for two years whilst completing my degree, often covering in the other aged rooms when they needed staff. I also worked within a family run business at a before and after school club and holiday club, looking after primary school aged children. I currently work as a nanny for a set of twins full time, supporting and tracking their development as well as taking them to toddler groups to allow them to gain interactions with other children. However, they are going to preschool when they turn 3 so I am looking for another job to start from the 28th February.
My Experience
I started studying childcare when I was 16, gaining experience since being at college, progressing on to obtain a degree within early childhood studies and becoming level six qualified. I have worked with a variety of age groups from 3 months to 12 years old and feel that I am very flexible and adaptable with the ages that I work with.
