I am a Norland Nanny with over 45 years experience and am passionate about offering the best possible childcare where children are allowed to be children within the perimeters of maintaining a safe and stimulating environment where boundaries are realised and potential allowed to be achieved . I am a mother, grandmother and daughter. I love the outdoors and lead a fit and healthy lifestyle. I am honest,loyal, discreet and trustworthy and like to be tidy and use my initiative. I have a flexible approach to any given day when it involves childcare . I am a good communicator.
I currently prefer to work on either an ad hoc basis or part time with some flexibility or do temp/ maternity but feel free to contact me with whatever needs you have and I am open to discussion to see if I can fit your childcare needs .
I also work as a private sleep consultant and have done for many years for any mums who have an issue with their little ones sleeping .
My Experience
I have over 45 years experience in childcare . I trained as a Norland Nanny and have used those skills as a private Nanny, Maternity Nurse, classroom assistant, Community Nursery Nurse for the Health Visiting Team, Sleep Consultant ,Breast Feeding advice, supporting parents with children who have behavioural issues .
My Qualifications
NNEB, Norland Diploma....Makaton Baby signing, Infant massage trained, UNICEF breastfeeding management training , level 2 food hygiene certificate, child protection training, ROSPA safety in the home, Millpond sleep training, paediatric first aid, understanding perinatal depression , speech and language within the health Visiting team , oral health , child development and play therapy.

- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
