About Me

I pride myself in tailoring lessons to the interests of the child to ensure they gain the most out of their sessions. I make learning fun and engaging and ensure the child feels at ease.

I assess children on an individual basis, discussing with them what they would like help with whilst also discussing needs with parents. We will then decide how to best move forward and what style of support is most appropriate.

I offer a free 20 min first meeting, to chat to parents and meet with the child.

My Experience

I previously taught full time in both KS1 and KS2 for 5 years, however I now work teaching children who are not in mainstream education on a 1:1 basis. However I really enjoy primary tutoring in my spare time.

I have experience of tutoring SEN children, using a range of different strategies and approaches to engage them in various aspects of the primary curriculum.

My Qualifications

QTS- ESSEX TEACHER TRAINING (2014)
Degree- The University of Essex BSc (Hons) Psychology- 2:1 (2011)
