Nanny in London: Southwark
My Summary
About Me
Hello!
I'm a warm, reliable and creative nanny with over 14 years of childcare experience, caring for children aged 11 months to 16 years.
Creativity has always been a huge part of my life. I studied Art at university and have a background in music, which I love bringing into my work through arts and crafts, singing, imaginative play and creative activities. Outside of work, I enjoy singing, DJ-ing, illustrating and textile arts.
I also love spending time outdoors and believe children thrive when they can explore the world around them. Whether it's trips to the park, nature walks, playgrounds, libraries, museums or local groups, I enjoy planning fun and engaging outings that encourage learning, confidence and independence.
I speak English, Romanian and beginner's Spanish.
I hold:
Enhanced DBS check
Paediatric First Aid certificate
Level 2 qualification in Children's Care/Children's Workforce
OFSTED registration
Full UK driving licence and my own car
I'm looking for a part-time nanny position for two full days a week (Monday to Thursday), where I can build a genuine relationship with a family. My aim is to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel loved, respected and encouraged to become confident, kind and curious individuals.
Families describe me as reliable, kind, creative, colourful, fun and always smiling. I take pride in building trusting relationships with both children and parents and love watching children grow, learn and gain confidence. I look forward to finding a family where I can become a trusted and valued part of their team.
My Experience
Throughout my career, I've worked as a nanny, volunteered in nurseries, and for the past two years I've been working as a Key Stage 1 Learning Assistant in a primary school. I've cared for families with one to four children, giving me experience balancing different ages, personalities and routines while creating a calm, happy and well-organised environment.
I also have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including children with autism and cerebral palsy. I believe every child is unique and deserves patience, understanding and care tailored to their individual needs.
My experience has given me confidence in supporting children's emotional, social and educational development, planning engaging activities, encouraging independence and maintaining consistent routines. I work closely with parents to ensure children feel secure, supported and able to thrive, always adapting my approach to meet the needs of each individual child.
