About Me

My name is Jenna and I am 25 years old. I live in Evesham with my 3 year old son called Cove and cat called Milo. I am a newly registered childminder who has previous experience looking after babies and children. I like to go out and about and do anything involving nature. I also enjoy baking and being creative.

I live in a flat but we make sure to go out every day. I live a 5 minute walk from a large park with a play area, sand pit, splash pad and river with lots of swans, ducks and geese that the children love to go to. I also like a 15 minute walk ( or 3 minute drive) from a small park with a big field to play in which I like to take picnics, crafts and sensory activities to as well as go for walks. We also regularly take trips to the library, farm parks, zoos, fruit picking, woodland walks, soft plays and much more! I also like to go to a forest school group called little muddy boots which is great for the children to get involved in outdoor activities, socialise and toast marshmallows. We also do lots of crafts, baking, cooking and sensory activities.

In my setting, little ladybirds, I focus on learning through play. This could be learning colours through painting, counting flowers while out for a walk or sharing toys with friends. I believe it’s important for children to have fun and be creative within a safe home from home environment.

My sister is also a childminder so more opportunities to socialise with others and play in her garden. Also means we can cover each other due to sickness if needed and are still under the ratio.

I have spaces available from the September term which I can offer funding for. I also have availability for childcare through the summer holidays.
