About Me
I currently work part time in a residential children’s home for children with special needs. Prior to this I worked in a special school as a LSA. Before this I was a foster Carer for 5 years. I have 3 children and 6 grandchildren who I regularly care for. I’m looking for part time work to supplement my income.
My Experience
I have 3 children & 6 grandchildren who I care for when required. I have been a foster Carer previously for 5 years where I looked after children aged from 4 days up to 17 years old. I have worked in a special needs school which involved working with children with various needs including ASD, Downs, epilepsy and behavioural difficulties. I am currently working as a residential support worker in a children’s home for young people with special needs mainly ASD both verbal and non verbal.
My Qualifications
I have a first aid qualification
I also have safeguarding certificate
Behaviour management certification
And various learning support qualifications and HLTA status.
My Availability
I currently work 2 days a week on a rota but can be flexible.
