About Me

I have a huge amount of experience working with children of all ages in both in a home setting (as a nanny), nursery settings (both indoor and outdoors). Most recently I was working to help set up a nature based primary school in London.

I am 34 years old and I have just returned from a winter trip learning about horticulture in the Canary Islands.
I am passionate about nature and the outdoors. Particularly the important role this plays for our children and young people. I spend my time enjoying the outdoors, enjoying nature crafts, and growing organic produce in the local community garden.

I have spent the last two years helping to set up an alternative eduction nature based primary school in North London. This is something that I am really proud of.

I have a genuine interest and passion for the education and overall well-being of children. I am an extremely reliable person, who enjoys a challenge. I consider myself a nurturing and sociable individual, who values the company of both adults and children. I take pleasure in being active and engaging with children in a variety of different ways to respect and nurture each child’s individual needs. I place particular importance in nurturing children’s natural disposition towards the outdoor environment and the role it plays in fostering young children’s effective learning and development. I view young children as competent, creative and independent. I aim to value each child’s individual interests and needs.
