About Me
Hello I’m Molly and I am a 27 year old female, looking for childcare work based in Torbay and/or Exeter. I have experience working with and looking after children of a variety of ages.
I am currently a level 2 gymnastics coach, who has worked with multiple groups of children from the ages of 1+ years within a fun learning environment. A primary part of my role at my current club is delivering 1-1 support to our participants who have additional needs (I currently am working with children who have autism, ADHD, anxiety, and Down’s Syndrome, to name a few).
I have previously been a summer nanny to a lovely 7 year old girl, and then I was a sports nanny working with 3 family’s throughout my time at University whilst I was in London, where I gained a BA First Class Degree (Hons) in Sports Communication and Marketing.
I am offering a babysitting/nanny service, and I am happy to commit to either short term, long term, or ADHOC as well.
I enjoy sports, arts and crafts, being outside, and dance. I am patient, kind, reliable, and have a genuine love for working with children.
My Experience
I have volunteered/worked with children of all ages for the last 17 years. Between the age of 10-16 I volunteered at various Rainbow, brownie and guide groups. Since then I have worked as a gymnastics coach for over 10 years, working with children between the ages of 1-17 years old.
In the summer of 2018 I looked after a 7 year old girl for 4 days a week between July-September. This included preparing her food, taking her out the house for activity’s, keeping the house clean, keeping her entertained, and making sure she was kept safe and happy.
From September 2018 - May 2019 I looked after my nephews (aged between 4-7) once a week, picking them up from school, making them dinner, keeping them safe and entertained until my brother got home.
Whilst at university I worked as a sports nanny via an agency, working with 3 family’s during my time in London providing them with childcare mixed with gymnastics coaching.
Since being back in Devon I have continued gymnastics coaching, with my new role primarily being to support our gymnasts who have additional needs.
My Qualifications
I do not currently have any professional qualifications in childcare but I do have a level 2 gymnastics coaching qualification. I also hold a DBS check, up to date safeguarding certificate, and a First Aid at Work certificate.
My Availability
I am available to start on the 6th of October (as I am away the last week of September/start of October).
I have some flexibility with my coaching job so can move things around if I have enough notice, but on a regular basis I am available in the mornings, midday, and early-mid afternoons as I start coaching most days at 4pm. I can also do overnights if needed.
I can potentially do the odd Monday and Sunday if needed, I’m just unable to commit to these on a regular basis.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
- Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)
