I am a warm and nurturing Nanny & Housekeeper/Manager with experience caring for children from 7 months through to 6 years. Previously a full-time foster carer and volunteer classroom assistant with nursery and infant children at Dame Catherine Harpur’s School in Ticknall. In addition, I have babysitting experience for a group of 3 children aged between 4-6 years. I am highly motivated to ensure children become happy, healthy and well-rounded individuals. I believe in listening carefully to feedback and following directions well from immediate and extended family.
I have very recently left a full-time Nanny and Housekeeper/Manager role with a family after 2.5 years due to business commitments in London. It necessitates that they move back to the city. I am still supporting the family on an adhoc basis until they leave and know that they will be happy to provide a good reference.
I am now seeking a full time daily role, where I can stay long term and develop a bond and connection with the family.
My Experience
I am a fully qualified Foster Carer and DBS approved. I have 5+ years full time Nanny and Housekeeper experience*.
I have 9 months experience as a volunteer teaching assistant at a nursery and infant school and therefore have experience to support with phonics, early stage maths etc. Plus the fun arts and crafts!
- *Sole charge nanny for a little girl aged 7 months at the start of employment – now 2.5 years.
- Preparation of weekly vegetarian meal plans (nutritionally balanced) and cooking in bulk to support family. Ordering of weekly food shop online, receipt of delivery and putting away.
- Accurate daily recording of activities/food/nap schedule/health for family to review at leisure.
- Research, approval via family and attendance at age appropriate classes and sports activities (indoors and outdoors). Excellent relationships with activity providers in the immediate area.
- Home preparation of daily craft, play and learning activities – regular monitoring of age development goals – providing feedback to family.
- Management of all housekeeper duties – Weekly deep clean of house and white goods, waste management, washing, ironing, bed changing, weekly antibacterial clean of child’s play area and toys. Wardrobe management. Daily housekeeping in the kitchen/dining and lounge areas. Cleaning family’s parents home on request.
- Managing online deliveries, returns and posting family items.
- House preparation for birthday's and Christmas.
My Qualifications
CPD Accredited: First Aid, Fire Safety, Food Hygiene Level 1.

My Availability
Week day evenings from 6pm and weekend evenings and overnights with advanced notice.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
Depending on requirements at weekends I can be flexible on hourly rate.
