About Me
I offer a more personal childcare service in a home setting, where children will have every opportunity to develop their personalities. I provide a wide range of resources to cater towards children developing interest. I have a wide knowledge of the EYFS and assessments, pedagogy and child development. I ‘work’ in a family environment with the aim for children to become part of the family. I also visit a range of playgroups, farms and soft play centres to further encourage children’s development, their social skills as well as their natural sense of exploration.
My Experience
I’ve been working with children for many years. My mom was a childminder and I always enjoyed helping her on teacher days and before and after school. After university I went to work at a soft play centre running the centre as well as arranging activities for toddler mornings. After that I went on to work in a outstanding private nursery where I gained my childcare qualifications. Most of my time here was spent leading the 2 year olds room, where we had nearly 30 children each day.
