*Family Helper* / "Mum Extension" – Part-Time

Location: Richmond, London

Start date: October 2026

Hours: 2 afternoons per week minimum (can be extended), starting earlier if needed. Morning hours could also be added for home-related tasks only (no childcare). Preferred days: Monday, Tuesday, and/or Thursday.

Kids: 1 secondary 2 in primary

About the role:
We're looking for a warm, reliable person to support our family of five with school collection and running the home. This isn't a cleaning role, we have separate help for that. It's about being a genuine extension of home life: present with the kids, and keeping the household running smoothly behind the scenes.

Key responsibilities:
• Collect children from school/activities on the agreed afternoons
• Spend quality time with the children after collection (homework, play, meals as needed)
• Keep track of household stock, bathroom and kitchen essentials, and flag or restock as needed
• Light laundry as required
• Tidy the home in a meaningful, thoughtful way, not just surface tidying, but genuinely making daily life easier for the family
• General small tasks that keep the household running (a "mum extension" mindset)

What we're looking for:
• Fluent in English or Italian (essential, for communication with the children and the family)
• A positive attitude with children
• Someone who takes pride in a tidy home and brings that same care and ownership to ours
• Reliable, proactive, and comfortable using initiative rather than waiting to be asked
• Driving licence and car (nice to have)

*Ideal candidate*: Someone who enjoys creating a calm, organised home environment and finds satisfaction in supporting a family day-to-day, not just completing tasks, but genuinely caring for how the household runs. Looking for a part-time job.
