About Me
I am a Prep Matron at a local independent school. However, I have Tuesdays and Wednesdays free to offer childcare from my home near Pythouse. I live with my husband and 3 children. My 2 eldest children have now left school and my youngest (13y) is at Clayesmore. Our home is located in a wood just behind Pythouse Kitchen Gardens. From September 2025 I will be able to offer childcare 8am-6pm. Nutritious snacks and home cooked meals can be provided. We will be largely based outside making the most of our beautiful surroundings. We have a few pets : 2 Guinea pigs, 2 tortoises, chickens and a dog. We occasionally have a few lambs too. Please feel free to message me. References available.
My Experience
Throughout my career it has in some way involved caring for children. From qualifying as a staff nurse at Great Ormond Street Hospital, being part of a fostering panel approving foster carers, running an outdoor afterschool club, nannying, and more recently becoming a Prep School Matron. I have always strived to enhance my knowledge. I have outlined these in the My Qualifications section. I believe I offer exceptional childcare in an outstanding area where children will thrive.
