Live-in or Live-out Nanny — Chiswick, West London

January 2027 start | 35 hours per week | Monday–Friday

We are a warm, fun-loving family in Chiswick looking for a caring, energetic and organised nanny to support our three children—a boy aged 9 and two girls aged 7 and 6. We also have a cat.

Our children are sweet-natured and active, enjoying sport, music, arts and crafts, games and outdoor adventures. Both parents work full-time in the City, so we are looking for someone reliable and proactive who can keep daily routines running smoothly while creating a happy, nurturing environment, balancing fun with clear, consistent boundaries.

The role
Responsibilities include:

Morning routines, school drop-offs, school-bus collections and after-school activities.
Preparing the children’s meals.
Supporting homework and reading, and encouraging independence.
Helping with bath and bedtime routines.
Light household duties relating to the children, including their laundry, bedrooms and tidying up after meals and play, plus occasional errands.
We have a cleaner twice a week for the heavier household cleaning.

Hours
Monday: 7am–10am and 2.30pm–7.30pm
Tuesday–Friday: 7am–8.45am and 2.30pm–7.30pm

This totals 35 hours per week, with time free between shifts and weekends off. The children attend clubs for much of the school holidays, but flexibility to cover additional daytime hours is important. Occasional evening babysitting would be arranged in advance, with additional hours and babysitting paid separately at an agreed rate.

About you
You will have experience caring for school-age children and be warm, patient, organised and confident using your initiative. You should be comfortable supporting homework, encouraging independence and setting fair, age-appropriate boundaries.

Good spoken and written English, a non-smoking approach, checkable references and an enhanced DBS check are required. Driving is helpful but not essential.

Accommodation and salary
We welcome both live-in and live-out applicants. For a live-in nanny, we offer a large private en-suite bedroom overlooking the garden in our comfortable home on a quiet, tree-lined street, approximately six minutes’ walk from the Underground.

Salary is competitive and dependent on experience and whether the role is live-in or live-out.
