About Me

Hello
My name is Kate and I’m the mother of a lovely boy called Finn, who is 8. We live in Charlton on Otmoor, a village in Kidlington. I work full-time in a busy job at Oxford University and Finn attends the Oxford Montessori School (OMS), Forest Farm, in Elsfield, OX3 9UW. I’m seeking some part-time childcare and household help from Oct 2026. I’m kind, consistent and reasonable, so hopefully good to work for!

Finn is a lively, fun-loving boy with a great sense of humour , who loves to chat and play! He’s particularly into vehicles (train obsessed!), animals, games, riding his bike, but also is bright and loves learning about new things, so may be interested in doing new things with you e.g. if you are super interested in baking, I’m sure he’d be up for trying that!
if this profile appeals to you, we would love to hear from you so please do get in touch!

My Requirements

Live Out Nanny
Housekeeper
After School Nanny
Part Time Nanny
Mothers Help
Household Help

Ideally, I’m looking for someone who can provide childcare four days per week to include a mix of morning drop to school (driving essential) and after school care from 4:30pm (school pick up) until I’m home from work around 6:30pm/7pm. On Mondays and Thursdays dad drops to school - see below patten- from Oct 2026.

Our needs within this are quite flexible. The core is nannying, but I also need some help with light work/household chores while Finn is at school. So it’s a nanny/housekeeper opportunity to support me as a busy single mum and prob around 18 hours per week.

Happy to discuss this though and build and define the role according to the person’s skills and preferences.

The core requirement is the pick up/drop off from School and after school care. The person must be able to be fully present while in the role, punctual and reliable, kind, loving, good and playing and looking forward to getting to know Finn and become a part of our family.

As I sometimes work evening events, there will be other opportunities around this too.

We look forward to hearing from you!
