Hi I'm Lauren, I have a 2 year old daughter who I spend my days preparing fun and exciting activities for.
I have recently stepped forward as a volunteer at Almondbury children's centre to start running my own stay and play sessions; involving a variety of arts and crafts projects along with sensory and messy play activities.
My Experience
Alongside the experience I have gained as a Mother and through my ongoing volunteer work. I have previously completed volunteer work at a special needs primary school, assisting the teaching staff during their summer play scheme for 3 consecutive years.
I also have an up to date DBS check and food hygiene certificate.
My Qualifications
BA Hons Television and Film Design 2:1
Though my degree is from a different sector, my artistic background has given me transferrable skills. Teamed with my childcare experience, these skills allow me to work creatively with the children. Organising exciting, educational activities for them to explore.
