About Me
I am a fun, bubbly person who has worked with children since 2010. I am 30 years old and live in Maidstone but willing to travel as i drive. I am currently working in a SEN school from 7.30 until 3.30, weekdays. I have a level 2 & 3 in childcare, a foundation degree for support teaching and learning and a BA Degree in childhood studies.
My Experience
I have a BA degree in childhood studies aswell as a lot of SEN experience. I have worked in all childcare settings throughout my 14 years of working and i am currently a senior teaching assistant in a special educational needs school. In my last school, due to covid had my own classroom for a whole year. I worked as a SIPS worker in a nursery and i also worked in New york at a special educational needs camp for adults and children. I also have many nieces and nephews ranging from the ages of 7 months to 17 years, so have also babysat and looked after them to.

Shari showed such warmth towards our boys (4.5 years and 1 year) from the moment we met her that our sometimes very shy older son immediately gave her a high five. This was really reassuring for us as it was our first experience of using a sitter. Shari arrived promptly on both of the agreed days, followed our routine whilst also being flexible to the boys' needs, and was great at entertaining the two of them with all of their favourite toys. This was a hugely positive experience for us all and we will definitely book Shari again in the future.
