About Me
Mum with 2 kiddos - 12yo girl and 5yo boy. Eldest experiences emetophobia, OCD and separation anxiety (possibly AuDHD); into horses, gaming, arts and crafts and quadrobics. Youngest has oodles of energy but also happy to build Lego for hours! Both love being creative and having muddy adventures outdoors.
My Requirements
Seeking ofsted registered childcare / mentor for my 12 year old daughter who is currently not able to attend school due to emotionally based school non-attendance.
Would prefer someone with experience of anxiety and neurodiversity in tweens and teens or someone who is neurodivergent themselves.
The role is mostly to build my daughter's confidence at being away from me (which she finds difficult due to severe separation anxiety) and doing activities that increase her self-esteem and independence.
* Must be kind, patient and warm
* Be able to gently encourage my daughter to challenge herself and do things she finds tricky
* Able to remain calm and support using set strategies when my daughter panics or becomes upset
* Prefer someone with own car (mileage paid) who could take daughter to activities
Also looking for ad hoc school pick ups (for my son) and babysitting in the evenings and weekends, which can be a separate role.
