About Me
I have a great passion for children and youth, hence why I have pursued it all the way from the age of 16, through my education and now in my current job and my other projects. I love to be able to nurture them, see them grow and also support families in the ways that I can. I also enjoy educating children and with my experience of working with all age groups and educational needs, I can do this well.
I enjoy music, drives, taking walks and playing sports. I also like films, family time and socialising.
My Experience
I have worked with children from a very young age. Be it a Sunday School leader, a Saturday School teacher, leading Drama sessions and youth club meetings, I am always around young children and youth. In a previous job, I worked closely with 3 - year old's in the family youth club. I also have loads of small children and babies in my local Church of whom I am around regularly, teaching and entertaining. I also have many babies and children in my family. I currently work in education and have an education-based degree, all of which has given me a lot of experience and knowledge of Safeguarding, the Children's Act 1989 and 2004, First Aid training, positive and negative use of social media and more.
My Qualifications
I have qualifications surrounding education, such as Channel Awareness (prevention) and regular CPD's on behaviour management, facilitation and more.
My Availability
I am very flexible. As I work in education, I am available in the afternoons and evenings term time, available all day during the holidays and available most weekends.
