About Me
My name is Toyin Odunsi. I am an OFSTED-registered childminder based in the Willenhall area of Coventry. I have three children of my own and love working with children
I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Home-Based Childcare, NVQ Levels 2 and 3 in Childcare Learning and Development (City and Guilds), and the Early Years Professional Development Programme (EYPDP) by the Department for Education. I also have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood from Warwick University and the following certified trainings: paediatric first aid course, Safeguarding children, Managing Children's Behaviour, Equal Opportunities, Ofsted Portfolios and EYFS and many more.
I am flexible in my approach, provide parents with monthly feedback and notification of events, activities, and trips.
My Experience
I am an OFSTED-registered childminder with over 18 years' experience working in the early year setting and as a childminder
I provide a safe homely environment which is fully CRB checked. I also ensure all children feel like part of the family and work in partnership with parents to promote child positive images and culture. Also, this includes consideration for children’s dietary needs and healthy lifestyles development.
The setting is well equipped to provides children with daily fun and educational activities such as arts and crafts, role play, dressing up, reading and story time, puzzles, playdough, cooking, musical instruments, singing and exercises, games, messy play, and lots more to stimulate children's minds and achieve all seven areas of EYFS learning and development. Outdoor activities include children visits to parks, mud kitchen, nature walks, bike rides, visits to toddler groups, soft play areas, libraries, fun picnics, visit to farms and local shops.
My childcare setting works collaboratively towards meeting EYFS standards including all required documentation, principles, and practice.
Finally, at the end of each year we also provide a graduation event/party for the children as they move from one milestone to another.
My Qualifications
My qualifications range from NVQs to a Degree in Early Childhood development.
Level 3 Diploma in Home Based Childcare.

My childminder has been amazing with my kids! She takes great care of them while I’m at work and always supports them with their schoolwork. Toyin cared for all three of my children since they were little, looking after them with kindness, patience, and genuine warmth. She provided a safe, stimulating environment, encouraging learning and creativity. I was always confident in her reliability and professionalism. My children grew fond of her and thrived under her care. I am very grateful for her dedication and highly recommend her childminding services to others.

Toyin is a very caring and reliable childminder. She looked after my son, Musa, and always picked him up from school on time. During his time with Toyin, he took part in lots of fun and educational activities that helped him learn and grow. Toyin is warm, patient, and genuinely dedicated to the children she cares for. I’m very happy with her service and would definitely recommend her to any parent looking for a trustworthy and caring childminder.
