About Me

25 years old, experienced babysitter and childminder. I am a Speech and Language Therapist with adults with learning disabilities, but not working at the moment whilst I study my masters in autism and intellectual disabilities. Looking for some part time childminding/babysitting work whilst I complete the masters. I have 7 years childminding and babysitting experience with a range of ages.

My Experience

Before university I was a childminder for 4 years with a family with two boys, and a babysitter for local families since I was 14. I also have volunteered with HCPT charity for 5 years, giving me experience with additional needs care. Through my university I have completed placements in local schools and nurseries as well as Special Educational Needs Schools meaning I have gained a vast breadth of experience with children, and in my current job I have developed my skills further in autism and intellectual disabilities.

My Qualifications

I have 10 GCSES, 3 A levels and an extended project qualification
I have a Bachelor of Medical Science in Speech and Language Therapy and am working towards a Masters of Science in Intellectual Disabilities and Autism.
I have a Paediatric First Aid Qualification, as well as Manual handling, mental health awareness and children safeguarding level 2
I have a DBS for working with children and adults
