About Me
I am a mother of 5.
I am friendly and socially confident. I do a lot of creative activities indoors but I also love going out and about discovering different local attractions and activities. I enjoy working with children, help them to learn through play, inspire and encourage them to be the best that they can be and most of all to keep them safe. Most of the previous family I worked with says that I am a great educator!
My Experience
I have over 20 years of experience working in a variety of childcare settings, including nannying, babysitting, and running my own home nursery. Throughout my career, I have cared for children from birth to primary school age, ensuring that their individual needs are met in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
As a trained home nursery practitioner/childminder, I have a strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and the importance of providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. I am also a member of a childminding agency and community, where I am required to complete a minimum of 16 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) each year, as well as undertake safeguarding training every two years.
In addition to my childcare experience, I am a passionate cook and an experienced baker. I enjoy preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals and creating delicious baked treats.
My Qualifications
Completed a training in home-based childcare and registered with OFSTED through a childminding agency. I am also a trained paediatric first aider. I hold a full UK driving licence and DBS checked.
