About Us

There is only one day nursery in Bracknell…. that has been awarded an ‘Outstanding’ judgement from Ofsted…. And not only that, but now, three times consecutively…. And there is also only one day nursery in Bracknell…. that is open from 7-7.

We are a 53 place family-run nursery set in the outskirts of Bracknell. Found just off the A3095, we enjoy a quiet, wooded location. We are a very experience team of practitioners, you'd expect nothing less, but what really makes the difference is that we select our team on the values that we cherish - their friendliness and love of children. The Ofsted inspector agreed, stating that ‘All those working within the nursery are dedicated and passionate about what they do, and totally committed to providing the very best learning experiences.’ We invest heavily in induction and ongoing training and development. That is why so many of us are graduates and post-graduates and it also explains why we were awarded an Investors in People Gold and the Quality Counts Platinum Award from the National Day Nurseries Association – both of these awards are the very highest level achievable. Our July 2019 Ofsted inspection report is summarises this saying ‘the provider and the new manager and their staff team have worked incredibly hard to maintain the high standards.’

We look after children from six weeks of age, until they leave us to go to school. We are proud that we are the only nursery in Bracknell to be registered with Ofsted to look after babies of this young age. Many of us are busy working parents ourselves, so we know what it is like to juggle. That is why all you have to bring is your child and a change of clothes and we will do the rest! Formula milk, nappies, creams, wipes, food and classes are all provided. We are proud of our nursery environment, inside and out and Ofsted commented at our inspection that the ‘opportunities for children's outdoor learning are truly awe inspiring.’ We have a spacious garden which we make use of all the time, in all weathers, as well as going on trips. We are a Forest School – and, again, are the only day nursery in Bracknell to hold this specialism. We also run music classes, as well as Baby Signing, dance, cookery, and French, so there are loads of fun things on every day.

All our food is freshly prepared and nutritious, and we have even been awarded a Children's Food Trust Outstanding Award as well as having 5 stars for our food hygiene. We have also been celebrating our Millie's Mark Award, and are the only nursery in Berkshire to have this at the time of writing. Millie’s Mark is a nursery specific award that recognises a gold standard commitment to children’s first aid and general safety and wellbeing.
