About Me
We are are a British/Spanish family of four. Our two daughters are 10 and 7 years old. They share the same birthday, the eldest was born in Brazil where we lived for a few years, and the youngest was born here in Hackney.
We all speak a mixture of Spanish and English at home (with a bit of Portuguese thrown in for good measure!). We enjoy travelling whenever we get the opportunity, but even when in London we fill our weekends and evenings with outdoor, cultural or creative activities wherever possible!
Our eldest daughter is a warm and energetic spirit who relishes all human interaction and loves all things artistic, musical and literary - she is one of those kids who want to hug every shopkeeper she meets! She adores her little sister, and loves to help her and play with her. Our youngest is a happy, active and adventurous child already. She has a huge smile for everyone, and is pretty patient when it comes to tolerating the youthful enthusiasm of her elder sister!
We love Hackney for its colour, energy and diversity and we are doing our best to bring up our girls in a wholly inclusive, multicultural and respectful environment.
My Requirements
We are looking for someone for after school care 3:30 - 6:30 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. This would involve picking them up from school, taking them to/doing some activities with them and doing an easy dinner for them. We are ideally looking for a native Spanish speaker as the children are half Spanish and we are trying to maximise their exposure to the language.
