About Me
We are a family run childminding business with many years experience providing quality care in a fun and stimulating environment, focusing on the well being of the children in our care.

I am Ofsted Registered and work with my registered assistant, my daughter Rose who has recently completed her level 3 diploma in childcare and has six years experience working with young children.
We enjoy nature and gardening and spend many enjoyable hours outside, we have a beautiful bluebell woods to the back of the property which the children enjoy and a five minute walk to the park.
We have extensive knowledge with the EYFS and have a "Good" grading

We offer many fun learning activities for the children in our care including Crafts, painting, small world, messy play, baking, reading, story time, gardening and outdoor play as well as teaching them about nature and the world around them.
We are currently living in East Hoathly, a lovely little village just off of the A22.

My Experience
I am a 48 year young mother of 5 with many years experience with babies and young children several of those years I ran a childminding business which included special needs children and children with disabilities. I have always worked with children and as I find it very rewarding and enjoyable. I have been a member of the Downs Syndrome Society and have also been involved with infant development having had a child with Down Syndrome.
I also drove a school bus for three years and have looked after many friends and neighbours children over the years.
Toads Garden Childminding has been running for ten years now and myself and my daughter work well as a team and have had many enjoyable and rewarding hours with the children in our care.
My Qualifications
We all have up to date CRB certificates.
We all hold a paediatrics First Aid certificate.
Level 3 childcare diploma
CACHE level 3 diploma home based childcare unit 1
OAPE training.
Experience with newborns.
Experience with special needs.
My Availability
We are available five days a week, monday to friday 8am to 5.30pm
Special arrangements will be considered.
