About Me

I’m a friendly, reliable and responsible person with over 8 years of experience working in childcare. I currently work in a nursery as a Senior Room Lead, and I genuinely love what I do.

I’m a qualified nursery practitioner and have experience caring for children from newborns through to 12 years old. I’m confident caring for little ones on my own and always aim to make children feel happy, safe and comfortable.

Outside of work, I love being outdoors, going for walks and spending time with my dogs. I currently split my time between Edinburgh and Dunbar with my partner, so I’d be really happy to help families in the Dunbar/East Lothian area too

My Experience

I’m a fully qualified nursery practitioner with over 7 years of experience working with children aged 0–12.

I’m currently a Senior Room Lead and 3rd in charge within my nursery, so I’m used to taking responsibility, organising activities and routines, communicating with parents and making sure children are safe and well cared for.

I have experience with newborns and younger babies, as well as toddlers and older children. I’m also first aid trained and have completed additional training around autism through my work.

My Qualifications

SVQ level 3 - social services in children and young people.
Fully first aid trained.

My Availability

I work a full time job with one day off during the week, if needing any childcare during weekdays please be in touch with notice and I can do my best to ensure I have this day off. I am available weekends during the day and night.
