Wonderful childminder

I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful childminder than Sam, I'm so grateful we found her!
When looking for childcare for my son I wanted a home-from-home environment that felt comfortable and nurturing while he was still so young, and that is exactly what Sam has provided. Sam is loving, patient and caring with all the children she looks after. She plans a wide variety of activities and makes every day exciting and engaging. From creative crafts, potion-making, baking and messy play, to playgroups, soft play outings and picnics in the park, there's always something fun for the children to enjoy. My son has absolutely loved his time with her.
Sam has also been flexible whenever I've needed to make changes to drop-off or pick-up arrangements, which as a working parent has been a huge help. She keeps us updated every day with details about what my son has been doing, what he’s eaten and photos of their activities. Updates are shared through a WhatsApp group, so both my husband and I feel fully informed, and she's always quick to respond to any messages. Sam also prepares healthy, home-cooked meals as well as healthy snacks for the children every day. My sons enjoys everything she makes and will often have seconds!
Since going to Sam my son has learned so many new skills and has really grown in confidence. She has supported his early learning through activities that have helped him develop his counting skills and learn the alphabet. It's been wonderful to see how much he has progressed during his time with her. He used to be quite shy around other children in group settings, but now he's much more outgoing and comfortable socialising which I believe is a reflection of the positive and encouraging environment Sam has created. She has such a calm, kind nature and it's clear how much she cares about the children she looks after. I would wholeheartedly recommend Sam to any parent looking for a trustworthy, caring and genuinely exceptional childminder. She has been a huge part of my son's early years, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found her.

A golden find in Worcester Park

Sam is truly an exceptional childminder. Her setting is nurturing and really encourages creative and outdoor play, and she offers a variety of nutritious meals. Unfortunately for me, her setting was always completely full (with good reason) when I needed full-time childcare, but I was lucky enough to get a spot for her to collect my daughter after school as she settled into reception. Sam has a very gentle style, and settling in was a breeze. It was a great comfort knowing my daughter would be going to Sam's 'home away from home' and she made some great friends there. She also convinced my completely 'beige' diet child to try some fruit, veg, and curry that she would never eat with me, so I was very impressed! Sam's communication was excellent and thoughtful - setting up a group chat with me and my husband so we could both be in the loop. She's very organised! I also know others who have used her setting for years and speak so highly of her. I can't recommend her highly enough.
