About Me
I am a qualified teacher. I have over twenty five years experience of working with children and families. I was a primary school teacher for fifteen years working in Early Years, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3. In 2015 I returned to nannying supporting families in a temporary capacity in their homes or on vacations. This also gave me the opportunity to tutor privately. I now work at a local school during the daytime, but can offer after school care and tutoring for early primary age children. I have excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum and love teaching phonics and numeracy using concrete resources.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £25.00 per hour
The rate I charge is from £25 per hour in my home or £30 in your home. This rate is not solely for the lesson, it also includes preparation time as lessons are tailored to meet individual needs. Feedback time is to be included in the allocated lesson time slot. I am happy to discuss reductions in time/rate for younger children, I also offer group rates.

My 7 year old daughter has been visiting Sarah for 8 months. Sarah is wonderful, to start with she researched what teaching schemes our school follow, she prepares for each session throughly and feeds back after each session and gives ideas for home. I have seen a real change in my daughters ability, improvement to my daughters attitude to learning and has massively built my daughter’s confidence since she has been seeing Sarah. Thank you Sarah x
