About Me

I have been registered as a childminder for 7 years now in High Heaton. I started my childminding career after working in a preschool for many years. My career has been childcare related throughout my adult life so I have a vast range of experience in various settings. I offer a home from home caring environment for children. I was ofsted rated GOOD in November 2021. I have many childcare qualifications and attend regular training courses to continue my professional development.

My Experience

Many years of experience working with preschool aged children aged 2-4 in a setting. Experience of working in Day nurseries with children aged 0-5. Worked in after school and hoilday wraparound clubs with children school ages of 4-11. Worked for a well known british holiday camp with children and families.
I currently childmind for early years and school age children aged 0-11 yrs and I also split some time of my time working in the local preschool in term time.

My Qualifications

Level 2 childcare and education. Level 3 children’s care learning and development. Foundation degree in Education and care, Ba Hons degree in Childhood and Society studies. Post graduate childhood practice, level 3 early years senco
