About Me
Im a mature childminder with 35years experience. I live with my husband of 38 years, live near a train station and 3 local schools. I keep up to date with training and I am always looking to expand my knowledge and experiences. We enjoy going out for walks to see and hear the local wildlife. We visit the local parks, we enjoy singing and dancing together, I try and offer fun activities that the children will enjoy. The children in my setting like to choose the activities we do and share with their parents their finished products. I use an App to show the children's daily diaries, photographs and their children's achievements and progress every day. I encourage the children to join in and enjoy their day and if their a little nervous or shy I try and involve them in our play by sitting on the floor with them to comfort them to make them more at home.
My Experience
I have 35 years experience working as a childminder and my grade from Ofsted was Good. I have 2 grown up children and 5 grandchildren , all the children through the years have gone to school recognising their numbers 1-20, their own names, the alphabet and able to write their own names. I encourage Phonics in a fun way and we learn alot through play. I have had children with different allergies, one child having the main 14 allergies and a couple extra, I made sure her food was carefully prepared on extra cleaned surfaces away from the other children's meals.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
Daily rate £35, before school £5.00 per session, after school £8.00(depending on departure time)
