Hi, I'm Katherine and I am 26 years old. I’m looking for part time work Monday-Wednesday and Thursday morning until 12pm.
My Experience
I started working as a volunteer in a primary school at 16 and have worked my way through a level three early childhood studies course, FDA early childhood studies degree and now BA Hons early childhood studies degree.
Alongside my 3 years at university studying the early years, I set up and ran a nannying and childcare business. Now that I have completed this degree I am a full time nanny and have been running this business for 6 years.
I have worked and/or volunteered in baby rooms, toddler rooms, pre-schools, play groups, 3 primary schools, special educational needs provisions, and privately as a babysitter ad hoc for 6 families which led to nannying full time for one family.
I love what I do and find the bond between nanny and family like nothing else. I was working towards primary school teaching but I found myself more drawn to being able to really support child(ren) in one family to thrive more rewarding.

Level 3 in Early Childhood Studies
FDA in Early Childhood Studies
BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies
Paediatric First Aid
Enhanced DBS

I have Public Liability Insurance
I can drive and my vehicle is insured for business use.
My Availability
I am available part time, Monday to Wednesday 09:00-17:00 and Thursday mornings 09:00-12:00. I would consider 2.5 days and longer hours: 08:00-18:00 if necessary.
