About Me

I was in a childcare setting from a young age so have grown up looking after others and that has never stoped. I really enjoy looking after children and getting to know both them and the parents on a professional but caring level. I have all sorts of pets at home and don’t mind them. I can be described as energetic and caring towards others, I just love what I do. I am now studying at the university of Northampton as a mature student (I am 23 and in my first year) in Primary Teaching, and am loving this course.

My Experience

I have been babysitting since I was 15 for regular clients and I also volunteered as a teaching assistant at a local dance school, before being offered a teaching job there. I’ve been an Ofsted registered childminding assistant since my 17th birthday (as that’s the minimum age) but helped out for fun before and I love it! I have experience as an au pair abroad working with a family in America.

My Qualifications

I am both first aid trained and have a full DBS check. I am an Ofsted registered childminding assistant. I have a btec in health and social care, as well as a levels in psychology and film studies, and am working towards a BA Primary Education QTS 5-11 degree.

My Availability

I can work evenings and weekends. As I am studying at university, I may have weekday available, depending on my timetable but can work all evenings and weekends. I have my own car so can transport myself.
