About Me
My name is Charlene Baldwin an Ofsted registered childminder, wife, and mum of four. My setting is AppleBees Childcare and I provide a warm, welcoming home-from-home setting where children can learn, play, and grow in a safe and nurturing environment.
We love spending time outdoors exploring nature, visiting local areas, and meeting up with other local childminders for fun social activities. Our days are filled with exciting themes, creative play, sensory activities, crafts, stories, and lots of laughter!
I am passionate about helping children feel happy, confident, and supported while giving parents peace of mind that their little ones are being cared for with love and attention.
My Experience
With a lifelong passion for caring for children, I am a proud mother of four and have grown up surrounded by children, including my many nieces and nephews. This has given me valuable hands-on experience and a deep understanding of children’s individual needs from an early age.
I have over 7 years of professional experience working within Early Years settings, supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a nurturing and engaging environment.
I also hold a CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator), providing me with the knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality childcare and early education.

Charlene is a excellent childminder. I always felt happy leaving my 1year old son with her once I had to start my new job. I had early mornings and Charlene accommodated this in well always ready when I’m knocking at the door. I had updates and pictures throughout the day and i felt safe leaving my son with her. Very happy with the service and safety of my son. Defiantly recommend.
