About Me

I am a childminder located in Westward Rise, Barry. I live with my husband and our two boys aged 14 & 16. I have two friendly cats who are used to children. I also have a border collie who is also used to being around children, but will always be supervised and never be left alone with the children. I enjoy being outdoors and am lucky enough to live in the beautiful west end area of Barry, I like to make use of the nearby parks and beaches with the children, along with local playgroups, soft play and other outdoor adventures.

My Experience

I have two children of my own and have lots of experience looking after children within my family and friends children over the last 16 years and currently mind children all aged 4 and under and have been doing this as my job for almost 5 years.

My Qualifications

I am registered with CIW, qualified in paediatric first aid, safeguarding children level 3, supporting children's emotional well-being, supporting children with speech, language and communication needs, food allergen training, food hygiene & safety, autism awareness, health & safety, nutrition awareness, understanding and working to the foundation phase in Wales, expectations in behaviour & schemas.

My Availability

I am available Monday to Thursday 8-5 and will have full time & part time spaces available from September 2026.
