We are looking for an experienced, patient, and hands-on Special Educational Needs (SEN) Nanny or Childcare Professional based in Manchester to physically lead and implement a potty training routine for our 34-month-old boy, who has suspected autism.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable taking the physical lead with toilet training (implementing scheduled sits, managing accidents, cleaning up, and establishing the bathroom routine) while working side-by-side with parents to ensure consistency.
Requirements:
• Proven experience with autism sensory needs, developmental delays, or SEN childcare.
• Experience with low-verbal prompting and using visual aids (e.g., Now & Next boards / PECS).
• Enhanced DBS check and excellent references.
• Willingness to be completely hands-on with the training process.
