Hi, I’m Hannah! I am a qualified teacher with 8 years of teaching experience of a variety of age ranges with TA experience prior to this. I have loved working with children and have now decided it is the right time to pursue my passion further by setting up Home from Home with Hannah - a childminding service which is child-led, playful, creative and aims to prepare little ones for their next stages in life. I am well-versed with the Early Years Framework and use children’s interests to engage them in learning through play. We will attend playgroups and get outdoors whatever the weather as well as visiting local attractions such as the library, cafes and farms to enrich their experiences. I think routines are key to helping children feel secure and settled (although I know these don’t always go to plan!) and so I have a draft timetable that is shared with carers which accounts for naps and downtime in addition to including a food menu which changes on a half termly basis.
I have a beautiful daughter who has just started school and who sees herself as my ‘assistant’! She is just as excited as I am for our new venture and so I am offering before and after school care too.
My Experience
I have taught/TA’d in schools and educational establishments for over 10 years with 8 of these being teaching. I have a wealth of knowledge and experience with children of all ages and abilities and aim to build long lasting relationships with both children and families alike.
My Qualifications
Qualified teacher status
BA Hons 2:1 linguistics and phonetics
3 A Levels
12 GCSEs
First aid trained
Food hygiene and safer feeding
Safeguarding trained
My Availability
Monday - Friday 7:30-5pm term time
Holiday care to be discussed.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
£7.50 per hour.

- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Colmore Infant and Nursery School
