About Me
Having spent the last 9 years working with 0-5 year olds, I have decided to start my teacher training in September 2026! I am currently looking for some families who may need some extra help during the school holidays, evenings, or weekends on either a casual or set basis.
A little about me: I love being outdoors in nature and will try to get out as much as I can so would love to meet some families who love the outdoors as much as I do. I prioritise child led activities, following a Montessori learning scheme to help support language and fine and gross motor skills. I am also very creative and love music and art, I love setting art activities and will always join in and support children with what’s been set. Happy to fit into any routine and try any hobbies or interests the kids enjoy- I also have a car for school holiday adventures if needs be.
My Experience
I have over 8 years experience in childcare! This includes working in 2 Early years settings with ages 3 months- 5 years where I received my Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education. In 2022 I began using my love and knowledge in childcare to slowly travel, and I began my adventures whilst nannying and working for childcare centres in various countries around the world. The past year I had the pleasure to nanny for 2 families aging 11 months- 4 years (please feel free to request as a reference). My days here were spent in parks, play groups and libraries and filled with open play, messy play and creativity. I also helped out with household chores and often did food prep, cleaning and laundry.
Alongside my studies I also worked for Aspley Guise Afterschool club with ages 4-9.
