I’m a single mum to two lovely boys aged 4 and 7. They’re full of personality, curiosity and energy, and I’m really passionate about them enjoying their childhood and not growing up too quickly.
Life can be busy with work and travel, so I’m looking for someone who can bring a calm, positive presence into our home and help create a happy, fun routine after school. For me, it’s not just about getting through homework and bedtime, it’s about laughter, creativity, and making the evenings something the children look forward to.
Kindness, patience and a sense of fun are really important to us. We’re a relaxed, down-to-earth household and I want someone who will feel like a natural part of our routine and help the children feel safe, supported and happy.
My Requirements
I’m looking for a part-time nanny to help with after-school care for my two children (4 and 7), for 2–3 days per week.
The main responsibilities would be:
School pick-ups
Helping the children unwind after school with snacks, homework and play
Preparing a simple dinner
Bedtime routine
As my role involves some travel, I would also need overnight care on those days, along with help getting the children ready and to school the next morning.
I will aim to keep days consistent where possible and give as much notice as I can.
I’m looking for someone reliable, kind and proactive, who is happy to take the lead and create a calm, enjoyable routine for the children.
