About Me

We are a friendly, down-to-earth family with two boys aged 6 and 2, living in a calm, structured home environment.

Our eldest son is neurodiverse and can be emotionally up and down at times, so routines, patience and a gentle, confident approach are really important to us. Because of this, we home-educate, and consistency and familiarity make a big difference to how smoothly things run. Our youngest is a happy, busy toddler who loves play and attention.

We already have weekday childcare in place and are now looking for a regular, reliable evening nanny/babysitter so we can have an occasional date night and some time together as parents.

Evenings are generally calm and predictable and usually involve:

Spending time with the children

Helping with bedtime routines

Settling them for the night

Light tidying once they’re asleep

We’re looking for someone kind, calm and experienced with children, ideally someone who understands neurodiversity or is open to learning. You would be a familiar, trusted face for the boys rather than a one-off sitter.

This role would suit someone local who enjoys becoming part of a family’s routine and is looking for consistent evening work.
