We operate under the business name The Shooting Stars Childcare.
We are husband and wife Ofsted registered childminders working together. We are able to offer early years funding places for 2,3 & 4 year olds accept tax free childcare and other voucher schemes. We have been graded 'GOOD' under the EYFS guidance.
I live with husband, 8 year old son and 2 year old daughter.
Our school runs at present are Our Lady Star of The Sea Primary School and Nursery and also St Thomas Primary School and Nursery.
We have a warm and friendly home with lots of resources for children of all ages and abilities (added to all the time much to husbands rolling eyes) and we also have a variety of days out planned and visit groups. We have a house which includes an enclosed rear garden allowing the children plenty of fresh air and the use of our multitude of outdoor toys.

My Experience
Together my husband and I have a wealth of experience with children having brought up my husbands 3 sons now aged 24, 27 and 29 years old and currently have 2 children aged 6 and 8 months. My experience also expands to looking after many of my friends and neighbours children from a very early age. I also have experience of working with children with sen, as I have a brother who has sen. We have been childminding together as a childminder and assistant and now 2 childminders since September 2009.
My Qualifications
We both have first aid for young children and have completed the regulatory ICP course ran by Lancashire county council. We have also completed the safeguarding children course.
I also have completed my Level 3 Children and Young People, level 2 Equality and Diversity.

We accommodate full time, part time, term time, school holidays, school pick up and drop off from birth to 11 years. Sibling discount available.
