Babysitter in Oxford
My Summary
About Me
I provide reliable, compassionate, and high-quality childcare tailored to each family’s individual needs. As a fully qualified Children’s Nurse with a position on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), I bring both professional healthcare knowledge and over 10 years of hands-on childcare experience.
I offer a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. I am experienced in caring for babies and children of all ages, supporting daily routines including feeding, naps, play, and age-appropriate activities that encourage development. Whether you need regular childcare, babysitting, or occasional support, I aim to provide families with dependable care and complete peace of mind.
My Experience
I have recently completed my Children’s Nursing degree and am now a fully qualified Children’s Nurse. I have accepted a position working on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where I will be caring for premature and critically ill babies. I also hold an up-to-date Paediatric First Aid certificate, an enhanced DBS check, and have over 10 years of experience working with children and babies.
Before qualifying as a nurse, I worked as a Nursing Assistant on the Paediatric Haematology and Oncology ward, where I cared for children with a range of complex health needs. This role strengthened my clinical skills, compassion, and ability to support both children and their families during challenging times.
Prior to this, I worked as a Room Manager in a nursery, where I was responsible for ensuring children received outstanding care in a safe, nurturing environment. I built strong relationships with both the children and their parents, planned engaging activities, and supported each child’s individual development.
I have also worked as a nanny, providing personalised care for children in their own home. This included maintaining daily routines, organising activities that supported their physical, emotional, and social development, and working closely with parents to meet each child’s individual needs.
I am passionate about working with children and have experience caring for a wide range of ages, from 12-week-old babies to 5-year-olds. I am confident in supporting feeding, sleep routines, play, and creating a caring, fun, and stimulating environment where children feel safe and can thrive.
I am currently on summer holiday and availability is flexible. However this will change in September/October time when I will be working full time.
