My Requirements

I am looking for a very reliable nanny/manny to be AVAILABLE (but not necessarily at work) for 24 hours a day for my contracted working days which are fixed on a 28 day pattern:
Week 1: Sunday-Tuesday
Week 2: Sunday-Tuesday
Week 3: Monday-Thursday
Week 4: Monday-Wednesday.
I can probably get ad hoc childcare for the one Thursday a month if needed.

Whilst the days are fixed, my working hours are unpredictable and I often start before 5am, so overnight stays are required to cover early or very late shifts.
I have a dedicated single room in the house, with private en suit bathroom.

Duties will depend on what part of the day my shift covers, but will include: waking the children, organising breakfast and school bags, walking them to school, being emergency contact for the day, school pick up, helping with homework, preparing dinner, helping tidy up, bathing and babysitting. On non school days you will be facilitating days out, driving to and from holiday clubs or doing activities with the children at home.

I pay a fixed retainer of £50 per day for 12 days per month (or 13 if you can do the one Thursday a month as well) PLUS £5 per hour for all the time you have sole custody of the children. I pay £25 for overnight stays on the first day of a working block (the retainer covers other nights).

Due to the nature of my work, you will be required to work bank holidays, however, these are 'given back' as extra holiday. When possible I take parental leave throughout the year so you will end up with approximately 5-6 weeks holiday a year. However please expect to be busy in the summer and quieter in the winter, due to the nature of the airline business.

My children are adopted, my 9 year old daughter has special educational needs and both are very energetic. Like all siblings they are best friends but also squabble. As such I am looking for a candidate who has plenty of energy, a playful and loving attitude and sufficient experience and patience to help regulate and guide the children through our busy lifestyle.
